Melissa Spelchen, (Spelch), has been performing live music, primarily as a solo artist (with her guitar and occasionally her keyboard), throughout North Dakota for multiple decades. With this extensive gig experience, she has been fortunate to meet a bevy of talented musicians and various artists throughout her creative travels.  She has been blessed to play with various talented musicians including Todd Wyman, Daryl Hicks, Mike Neff, John Spitzer, Robert Marum,and Kim Whittemore.

In addition, within Dr. Spelchen's portfolio as Healthy Youth Community and Social Service Specialist with the Central Regional Education Association (CREA), she works alongside the North Dakota Council on the Arts.  Part of this collaboration involves Dr. Spelchen recruiting artists statewide and coordinating residencies within North Dakota PK-12 schools.  This work has allowed Dr. Spelchen to have a rolodex of performing, visual, literary, film/video, and digital artists. 

With her personal and professional experience, Dr. Spelchen is able to coordinate creative arts for your business and/or event.  The cost of the coordination is negotiable depending on the artist, the business and/or event, and the scope of the work.
